There aren't a lot of hotel options in Sanford, but even if there were, I would stay here. There's something about the quaintness of a motel, the old timey rooms and the exterior doors. This hotel is extremely clean though it is a bit dated, it feels like you're going back in time. I enjoyed it and would stay there again, it's a great experience. Why can't I post photos though?
Definitely the best "motel" style space I've stayed in. The rooms are updated and upgraded. And the location is great for the Ren Faire, breweries, hitting up a variety of nature.
I was shocked at how close this place was to the beach, somehow (with the small town back roads) the ten minute drive was a lot quicker than being stuck on rte1. The owner and/or manager was super polite and professional. The place was very well kept, clean and did not have the musty smell most beach motels do. The price was very reasonable and affordable compared to other places in the area. I highly recommend this place for a nice beach experience.
We needed a last minute room and they were very accommodating. Great service, close by Walmart and Dunkin in town. About 20 minutes from Wells Beach, which was where we were headed. The room was clean, water pressure was great. Very nice people. Would recommend!
Location was great, whole property was better than most hotels in Portland area! Owner is very professional and cleaning crew were always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. This is my favorite place to stay in all of Maine. If i could include pictures of this place and how clean the rooms were and updated i would.
The best kept secret in southern Maine. Excellent value(less than half the price of better known area hotels). Neat as a pin. Clean as a whistle. I attended an area NETRA off road motorcycle event. I needed a safe place to park and a quiet place to sleep; I got both. I highly recommend this "old school" motel. Try it, you will like it!

Don’t judge a book by the cover! I had to stay for a business trip so it was a clean, and quiet place to sleep! It seemed like all the rooms were booked (also a good thing in my eyes). Sheets were clean, and everything was clean! Whomever checked me in was very nice and personable! Location is close to food and Walmart! Only reason I rate 4 stars, is furniture and style is a bit dated.
